Ickleton Village Open Gardens

One of our lovely clients is kindly opening their beautiful garden for charity on Sunday June 16th 2019.

Located in pretty Ickleton (CB10 1SH) the garden is one of several open to the public in aid of Ickleton Village Hall and Asthma UK - Ploughmans lunches and afternoon teas will be served, with entry tickets, programmes and parking available from the Village Hall.

This fantastic Border Oak barn style house was built just a few years ago in the walled garden of a historic home. The new garden is now fully established and flourishing under the expert eye of our clients who have added flower beds, trees and vegetable planting to the existing orchard trees.

Although the house itself will not be open to view internally this is a wonderful opportunity to see how a building project matures into its setting once the builders have left, and how a new home softens into the plot over time. It is also a great example of how a new home and garden can positively contribute to enhanced ecology and biodiversity thanks to thoughtful planting.

Highly recommended for a lovely, inspiring day out!
