Farm for the future

The Border Oak smallholding

We had big celebration plans for our 40th anniversary in 2020 but sadly Coronavirus scuppered almost everything.

Whilst we have decided to postpone our wider celebrations until 2021 (hopefully!) fortunately we have been able to action some of our larger strategic plans and are delighted to share with you our recent purchase of a traditional smallholding close to our existing offices and workshop, together with 22 acres of farmland in a nearby village. For some years now we have been looking for some land that we can bring forward as part of our biodiversity betterment, ecological enhancement and carbon sequestration aspirations.

The main small holding has a farmhouse, various barns and outbuildings, and 12  acres of organic apple and pear orchards. The additional farm land comprises of an old dairy farm and arable land - including a wonderful old oak tree.

We haven't finalised our ideas just yet, and are busy working through all the exciting possibilities, but whatever we do next we will share the progress with you all over the coming months and look forward to showing you around as part of our postponed celebrations.
