We're looking to acquire land or work in collaboration with landowners



For a number of years, we have acquired our own land as well as worked with clients/landowners all over the UK to develop their land into Border Oak homes. With extensive experience and a little imagination, we help to transform your land into desirable and beautiful single or multi unit development sites. 

We are searching for village or edge of town plots/land to acquire or work in collaboration with the landowner.  We are able to take on projects from the outset without planning, or indeed work with sites that already have outline or detailed planning approval.

Sometimes landowners will live next door or wish to have one of the plots on the site - we are experienced in understanding your needs and possible concerns and ensuring that the project considers all parties.

Examples of projects we have brought forward previously are as follows:-

1. Edge of Village Site for 8 Houses. Border Oak were approached by the landowner and obtained Detailed Planning Permission on their behalf.  Border Oak then sold the plots on behalf of the landowner, and undertook the construction work, with the landowner retaining a plot on which they built a Border Oak house.

2. Centre of Village Site for 7 Houses. Border Oak purchased the site outright (subject to planning permission) from the landowner who continued to live next door.  Border Oak undertook all planning work with the vendor being consulted on designs.  Once planning was achieved Border Oak sold the plots to clients and built the homes for them.

If required, we can deliver full management of design and planning services paired with access to a large database of those looking for plots to build a Border Oak home on.
