With its own workshop and erection crews the Outbuildings Division has both expertise and flexibility in producing cost effective, handmade oak frames and structures for any purpose. Our scope of works usually consists of the supply and erection of the main frame structure. However, if appropriate, we can provide a full build service including baseworks, roofing and joinery. The simplicity of the system means that we are also able to offer various self assembly options. Our structural frames make use of a post and beam/bay principle and have a simple and efficient logic. The buildings have been designed to achieve optimum sections, spans, structural efficiencyand cost effectiveness. The bay system is remarkably flexible and an almost infinite number of configurations can be developed from the basic design. Structures can be added to one another to create attractive combinations. Our oak outbuildings are often used as garages, workshops and studios. Past projects include school rooms, shops, display buildings, museums, extensions and annexes.
